Eighth Annual
Eva Lane Memorial Community Tennis Day
Saturday, July 30th, 2011, at Currituck County High School, starting at 9:00 a.m.
On January 10th, 2004, Eva Lane, a three-year member of the Lady Knights tennis team and a recent graduate of Currituck County High School, was killed by a drunk driver. The Community Tennis Day is hosted by Currituck Tennis in Eva's memory and the proceeds fund a a college scholarship given annually in her name.
This year's event will be a doubles tournament, with men's and women's divisions. We're inviting CCHS team members, our alumni, and anyone in the community to join us for a day on the courts. Matches will be 8-game pro-sets, and two matches are guaranteed, weather permitting.
